POSTGRADUATE GRADUANDS

  • Postgraduate graduands may pick up individual degree scrolls when the graduate degrees are awarded and when University Academic Regalia is returned at Tuanku Chancellor Hall Information Desk per the following details:

Reminder

It is the responsibility of the graduand to check the academic certificate received before leaving the counter. USIM will not be responsible for any errors especially the misspellings of name or any damages found after that.

ACADEMIC CERTIFICATE POSTAGE

  • Graduands who are unable to collect the academic certificate personally can write to the Division of Academic Management (Exams and Graduation Unit)/Centre for Graduate Studies to request that their academic certificates to be mailed via Pos Laju Malaysia. Graduands must clearly state their address, telephone number (home and mobile, if any), and attach one (1) copy of their identification card (front and back). The mailing charge is as stated below:

  • Payment can be made either online transfer or cash deposit to Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) account number 05-058-01-0021488 under the name of Bendahari Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).

Reminder

The University will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the scroll during the mailing process.

COLLECT BY REPRESENTATIVE

  • Prospective graduates who authorize other graduates to pick up letters of completion, official academic transcripts, and academic degree scrolls must produce the following documents:
  • Letter of Authorization to Pick Up Official Academic Transcript, Letter of Completion, and Academic Degree Scrolls

    LETTER  SAMPLE
  • A copy of representative’s Malaysian Identification Card or passport

  • A copy of graduate’s matric card or Malaysian Identification Card/passport

  • iv) University Academic Attire Return Ackbilwledgement / Debt Clearance Slip/Form.

  • The representative is fully responsible to check the scroll received before leaving the counter. He/she must especially check on the spelling of the name on the degree. USIM will not be held liable for any errors, loss or damage to the degree after that.

ACADEMIC CERTIFICATE REPLACEMENT

  • Graduands can apply for a graduation scroll replacement if the graduation scroll is lost or damaged. A RM100 (Malaysian)/ USD40 (Non-Malaysian) graduation scroll replacement will be charged to the graduate. The application must include the following details:
  • Application letter from the graduand

  • Copy of the police report

  • Receipt of payment

  • Graduands may also apply for additional official transcripts and each application will be charged RM25 (Malaysian)/ USD10 (Non-Malaysian) for each set of languages.

  • Prospective graduates are requested to get in touch directly with Student Affair Divisions to pick up Co-Curricular Transcripts.
